A photo where you are not present

A performance in the ballroom of a vacated building. Part of the performance was a photo booth in which visitors did not appear in the photos during the printing process. After the shooting, the person received a photograph of an empty chair inside the photo booth. On the reverse side of the photo was the inscription: "A person in and of themselves is more interesting than any ideas about them."
